Building a Strong Foundation for Optimal Health at Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center

How Chiropractic Care Works

Chiropractic care is much like constructing a building—certain foundational steps must be completed before others to ensure stability and function. Just as you wouldn’t install walls before laying a solid foundation, your body requires a structured plan of care to heal and function properly. At Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center, Dr. Eryka Simonson will guide you through the three key phases of chiropractic care:

Phase 1: Relief Care

When you first visit Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center with pain, our immediate goal is to provide relief. Depending on the severity of your condition, you may need to visit us two to three times per week for four to 12 weeks.

Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care

During this phase, we focus on healing muscles and tissues more thoroughly to prevent future injuries. Typically, this requires visits four to eight times per month over six to 24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your condition.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

After your body has healed, regular adjustments become important to maintain your health and prevent future issues. Usually, this involves a visit to Dr. Eryka Simonson one to four times per month, depending on your lifestyle and wellness goals.
